Beatty participates in the Crop Walk

The Crop Walk is a national community based fundraiser that raises money to help fight hunger around the world. It provides food and other resources for people that are affected by natural and man-made disasters. Forsyth County, ( Winston-Salem , NC ) held its annual Crop Walk on Sunday, October 18th.
Rachel Jackson, one of the Crop Walk coordinators and Grandmother of CJ Beatty, explained to him the importance of the Walk and recruited him and other family members to become participants. For more than 15 years, kids, adults and pets from area churches and communities have gathered together to walk and show support for people that are hungry. The local walk is one of many that are held across the U.S. each year. Organizers started the event with a ceremony at Corpening Plaza . There were nearly 1000 people in attendance, people that were concerned and wanting to make a difference in our world of need.
